Subject: OK, Mornington Crescent

Another I'm Sorry, I Haven't A Clue-inspired game.  Unfortunately, time does not permit me to go into all the rules, so I guess if you don't know them, you'll have to pick them up as you go along.  Look here for an introduction to the game.  I'd suggest we use Simp
lified Version rules to make things as easy as possible.

OK, I'll get the ball rolling with as simple a start as possible: Piccadilly

Googe Street

Not in normal rules: I think you might find it's Toksvig's protocol or one of those

Charing Cross, placing the Boot in Vorderman for three squares

does the temporary closure of the central line affect this?

I think the Central Line's open actually - and it's Tuesday btw?

any takers? ???

I hope the Circle Line is open: I'm not sure Charing Cross would be a legal move otherwise.  Anyway, to follow Vordeman's boot:

Hmm, that was a sneaky one - thought you could trump with a crockford's gamble?  I guess we'll have to go for the flush with

Old Street

But we're getting perilously close to...

I thinks that's valid, using Nottingham rules  :D

Hey, that's just down the road from where I am now - if I look out the window, I can see

Mill Hill Circus

BTW, do you think we should explain some more of what's going on to the other guys here - it looks like you, me Jim and Karen are the only ones who know how to play this game...

Subject: Re: OK, Mornington Crescent

Half of the fun is that I haven't a clue what's going on. Hehe.

did I mention I'm going to London in June to play this IRL? :D

I'm trying it figure it out. Is it cheating to print a Tube map?

Not at all.  Hopefully, after playing for a while, you won't need it any more, anyway.

Highbury and Islington

I was going to say Frognal but I cheated by looking at a map, so I'll penalise myself by moving back to Rotherhithe

Can I perhaps be a bit bold here and leap to Great Portland Street?

Subject: Re: OK, Mornington Crescent

Written By: philbo_baggins on 04/29/03 at 07:51 a.m.

That was a bold one - if we weren't on the simplified rules, it'd be straight to Mornington Crescent from here.  Ah well, guess I'll have to make do with
