What is your dream job?

I wanted a job as an experimental officer in the Physics department where I used to work.  But we could never get the funding and so I had to transfer to the department where I work now.

At the moment I really don't know what I want to do any more.  Can't get motivated to doing anything.

What job do you do at the moment?

So is it day or night where you are ?

So did you see the implicit question?

No.  They have strings!

Do you like a lot of bass or less resonance as you listen to music?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/08/03 at 07:46 a.m.

Too much bass can never be a bad thing. It wakes me up if I fall asleep by gently shaking the floor for me.

Why did that happen, that I had to moderate to ADD a question?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

We would come to a halt if there were no question to answer!

What is your favourite dairy product then?

Exactly. Worry about cheese, as much as possible.

Can't resist lots of cheese, whenever possible.

Will I finish a parody tomorrow? Or will I answer my email? Which will it be?

Do both, hedge ya bets.

Should I complain that Monday comes round too soon?

Written By: Meriadoc on 06/09/03 at 00:22 a.m.

Not if you are out of school and have the summer off...

Can I give either the email or the parodies the attention they deserve if I do both? (If I only have enought brain cells in one day to do justice to one activity?) Do I please Peregrin or do I please KC?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:25 a.m.

Do both. But not at the same time. Heh heh. That would be wierd.

Is it possible to do both at once?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Meriadoc on 06/09/03 at 00:28 a.m.

I would not mind doing them both at once... ;D But they might not agree.... ::)

Is this thread going wayward again? Do I have that knack? ::)

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:30 a.m.

That's the point of stuff like this.

How wayward can it go?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Meriadoc on 06/09/03 at 00:33 a.m.

It frightenes me to even comtemplate how wayward I could make it go. We won't go there...

So, read any good books lately?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:36 a.m.

As it happens, yes. I've just been rereading Wouldn't It Be Nice - My Own Story by Brian Wilson and Tony Gold - having then been told that the whole book, though mostly full of the truth, had nothing to do with either co-author.

Isn't that illegal?

If it was, wouldn't Anthony Scadato be in jail? ???

Should I launch upon a full-scale reacquaintance with Camus?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:41 a.m.

The way I see it, do anything as much as you can, otherwise everyone will be asking questions like that all day, and they'll never get stuff done. If they never get stuff done, they'll regret not doing stuff afterwards.

Is that a good philosophy?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Meriadoc on 06/09/03 at 00:43 a.m.

Only if one intends to play on the messageboard with an egg timer sitting on one's desk... ;D

Do you think anyone ever really timed eggs with those things? How fast can eggs run?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:45 a.m.

They're magically timed to either 2.5 - 3.5 minutes so that we get screwed eitherway and the egg is never just right.

What's your favourite kind of egg?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Meriadoc on 06/09/03 at 00:48 a.m.

The kind that smile and talk to me when I open the carton... :o

Is that why I never have the heart to fry them?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/09/03 at 00:50 a.m.

It's kind of polite when they decide to smile at ya.

If they didn't, would that be considered rude?

Do you think it impolite to dunk (dip) biscuits in your tea?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: HolyDooley on 06/09/03 at 08:52 a.m.

Gosh!  Have you never heard of Tim Tams?!!  They are an Australian staple as far as biscuits are concerned.  Two chocolate wafers with a chocolate cream centre, dipped in chocolate for good measure.  Etiquette requires that you dip one end into your coffee, leave for a minute and then suck as hard as you can on the other end and chocolate flavoured coffee comes up the centre.  It's not considered rude at all.

Does that not sound like fun?

Not really, but it is summerlike.

Has the temp reached 90 were you live?

Subject: Re: Questions and Answers-Cinco

Written By: Bobo on 06/22/03 at 02:37 p.m.

Not as yet. Maximum so far this year of 82 degrees. You can put a 25-1 bet on it reaching 100 this year though - something the weather in England did not do last century.

It's best to be summerlike in summer and winterlike in winter, and not the other way around, right?

True. It went down to a low of 39 degrees on June 4th. :o

Which would you rather do: shovel a big driveway of snow in minus 25 degrees or mow a big yard with a push mower in 100?

I'd rather eat dirt....but shoveling snow beats out mowing in that kind of temp.

How many sunny days per year do you have in England?

How cold does it get in England?

Very... well, the bottom end I've seen it is around 5 degrees fahrenheit up in the highlands of Scotland. Down here, about 10 degrees, min.

Is that very cold?
