Subject: Next lines

Written By: FaultyDog on 06/17/05 at 1:43 pm

I've been told my quizzes are too hard.... :-\\  Hope you'll like this one better!

It's simple: I give you a line from a song and you come up with the next line, plus a new line from another song for us to chew on. (Don't think it has been done before)

So let's find out where the music takes us...

Here's an easy one to start with:

When I was younger, so much younger than today...

I never needed anybody's help in any way

Left standing in the lurch in a church

Where people saying: "My God, that's tough
She's tored him up"

So keep your eye on the sparrow

Competition is still open, people!

I know what song it is, but I don't know the next line... :-\\

So keep your eye on the sparrow

Can it be:

"So in the locker she wanted to stay"?

Err is it

"I never needed anybody to help in any way."??

That one has already been answered. We're now looking for the next line to follow:

So keep your eye on the sparrow

Any ideas? And if so, could you please give us another line from another song to chew on?

I'm afraid not. That's Brian Hyland, isn't it? (and of course the beloved Timmy Mallet aka Bombalurina...  ;))

It's Sammy Davis Jnr., "Baretta's Theme (Keep your eye on the sparrow)" - I think I can freely give you that.

OK, so the next line is When The Going Gets Narrow.

I felt like giving this thread a last chance, so I'm reviving it myself. For details see first post. Hope it will be taking off this time. If not, I'll remove it.

So what's the next line to:

Sometimes I try to count the ways and reasons that I love you...
