City of Night (Berlin)- Peter Schilling

I almost misheard all of the songs lyrics

The Different Story- Peter Schilling

I thought one of the lyrics was "know the night of hope and glory" and not "know the light of hope and glory"

Please Don't Go- The English Beat (The chorus: I thought it said, "Please the Pope!")

Jumpin' Jack Flash- The Rolling Stones (Most of the song was pretty incomprehensible!)

Kiss's "Shout It Out Loud": The line goes 'Call all yer friends in the neighborhood, & get the party started.'
-I thought it said "Get the farting started." :-[

Invisible Touch - Genesis

The line goes "She seems to have an invisible touch, yeah", which I used to think was ..
"She seems to have a physical attraction".  I sometimes still sing this lyric :D

Bohemian Rhapsody ~ Queen

As heard: Spare him his life from this monstrosity!

But misheard as: Saving his life from his warm sausage tea

Believe it or not, here's a "Tale From The Karaoke Room":

I had someone singing "My Sharona".
Only they were singing "Rice-A-Roni".

When asked if they did it as a joke, they said no.

*shaking head in disbelief*
