Subject: Parody votes on Amiright not registering properly

Chucky, there is a glitch in the parody votes. I just voted on a parody for the SOTM contest. It was sitting at straight 5's and as much as I hated to break the writer's string, for the life of me I just did not think it was funny enough for a 5. So I voted 5-4-5, and after I cast my vote the vote count was up one, but it still showed straight 5's. I hit the back button to make sure I hit the 4 for humor and I had. So the voting tabulation is not working properly.... :(

Did the total vote number change? Is it possible that you had already voted on this and just don't recall doing so?

if your cookies are not enabled, votes won't get counted, and it won't tell you otherwise.

My cookies are enabled, and I always double check to make sure my votes count. The vote count went up by one after I voted, it just did not register the correct set of figures...

Funny - I just went back and looked again (cus I forgot to leave a comment), and the 4 for humor is showing on the graph, just not in the numbers as they still read 5-5-5. When ours get a 4 vote, they go straight to 4.9! ::)

If you look at the average for that parody on the author's page, you'll probably find that the parody has enough votes that even with a 4, the average is 4.95 or higher. The average is computed out to the hundredth's place, as we see it on the author's page, but only displays to the tenth's place on the parody pages, so the number should be rounded up or down, accordingly.
