Subject: unable to log in

Happy New Year Chucky.
I have just returned from holidays and inthe00s has changed me from auto log in to a guest.
I logged in using usual name and password and got a message saying
You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings.
I checked my cookies and its all still set on medium - like it usually is.  I put inthe00s into the allowable sites.
Any hints on what else I can try ?

Clear out every cookie you have that might come from one of Chucky's sites. Sometimes "stale" cookies store out-of-date information.

Do you use Internet Explorer?
I don't think you can delete individual cookies in it - you have to clear the mall at once (not a big issue - just have to re-accept ones that you want later).
Go to Tools->Internet Options->General->Delete Cookies.
I had trouble for a while getting the inthe00s server to remember me the next time I connected - although it would let me re-login each time. That seems to have been replaced by my current problem, though ::)

it may be your browser cache, or a problem with your browsers cookie settings

I'm also having a little trouble trying to log in the first time and then it tells me "wrong password"but then it logs me in after.
