I watched "Everybody Loves Raymond" periodically...he was great as Frank Barone.

So sad. I will always think of him as the monster in Young Frankenstein. He was also in the movie the Dream Team and had a great line: Stay out of my psychosis." (Never got into Everybody Loves Raymond). He will be missed.

Ah man this really sucks. :\'( We have lost a true legend. I'll never forget his role in Young Frankenstein.

This is quite shocking; he was so young! He was the great-uncle of my best friend in 5th and 6th grade.

Yet again we have lost a truly remarkable actor. Whether it was as the Monster in Young Frankenstein or as Frank Barone on Everybody loves Raymond, he never failed to make me laugh.
RIP Mr Boyle, I will miss you. :\'(

A great actor for both serious and comic roles, on the right side of the fence politically, and an all around decent fellow, I'll miss Peter Boyle!

Tragic indeed, I guess he'll be spending Christmas with his old friend John Lennon(His wife & Yoko are friends).
I always enjoyed him in movies like The Shadow, While You Were Sleeping, & Dr. Doolittle. My thoughts are with his family tonight, as well as Ray & the cast. Where's Dr. Frankenstein when you really need him?

I was always a fan of Peter Boyle. I've seen him in a lot of films. The first one was "Born to Be Wild". He was definitely a character actor, a lot of fun to watch. He will be missed.
