Tom Snyder (1936--1971)

LEAD:
Tom Snyder, the late-night talk show host whose free-form program and intimate interviewing style influenced a generation of broadcasters, died in his Tiburon home nearly two years after he announced he had chronic lymphatic leukemia.

I'm going to sit back and sip a colortini in honour of Tom.

RIP Mr. Snyder... you ruled the after-hours airwaves.  :)

R.I.P. Mr Snyder :(

I remember on his show(s), since he had no audience, whenever he made a joke, he would laugh, and sometimes you could hear someone off camera laughing.  I always liked that :)

Mr. Snyder's style was at times accidentally amusing.  That was part of his charm.

I always liked his style, he seemed like a throwback to the days when broadcasters were more classy.

His eyebrows kinda creeped me out though, it seemed like they had a life of their own.
