according to Oldies Music Bulletin Board,this rock and roller has died.

It's tragic that her career never really 'took off' despite showing initial promise...
She was certainly the first out-and-out female rock 'n roller...an outstanding acheivement in a area dominated by males, so perhaps that was why her career never really got going...
I suppose in that field, there's only Wanda Jackson and Brenda Lee left now...RIP Janis...

Well she did get married and get pregnant at an early age.Still,so sad.
