Subject: Reverend Alpha Rex Humbard (Sorry that the news was late.)

Written By: MrCleveland on 10/01/07 at 10:30 pm

On September 22, 2007 another televangelist has passed away.  :\'(
Rex Humbard died at the age of 88. He was one of the earliest televangelists that paved way for others at a time of Oral Roberts and Billy Gahram. He was close friends with Elvis Presley (I'm not making this up!) and played the guitar, but when his fame waned he sold the Cathedral of Tomorrow to the Reverend Ernest Angely (Not to be confused by the Robin Williams skit Reverend Earnest Angry) and the Grace Cathedral which is owned by WBNX (Cleveland's CW.)
Humbard is survived by his wife and children who reside in Florida.
