Without him the Dodgers wouldn't be a team..he was their General Manager for a good numbers of years...

Oh yes....I read about him in the newspaper this morning. Apparently he was their GM during the 50's and 60's (both in Brooklyn and L.A.). Of course, that was before my time, so I didn't know a great deal about him. :-\\ Still, from what I read, it sounds like he was an asset to the team. :)
