A big name in the 40's (50's)...singer Judy Collins admired her ...maybe that helped influence Judy.

A wonderful lady with a most distinctive voice, she'll forever hold the distinction of being the first female to have a chart-topping single in Britain ('You Belong To Me' - 1953)...
