Written By: greenjello74 on 09/03/08 at 7:15 pm

José Cuauhtemoc "Bill" Meléndez (November 15, 1916 – September 2, 2008) was a Mexican-born American character animator, film director, and film producer, known for his cartoons for Warner Brothers and the Peanuts series. Meléndez provided the voice of Snoopy and Woodstock in the latter as well.

Best animator ever IMO.  No one can do a Snoopy bleh like Bill could, perhaps that why he was the only voice for Snoopy.

RIP Bill, I'm sure you and Sparky have a lot of catching up to do.

You should hear some of my Snoopy and Woodstock voices.

But on the subject...RIP Melendez, you are reunited with Schulz again.
