Subject: Veteran Actor Ron Silver passes away...

Veteran TV and film actor Ron Silver bit it today. He was 62 years old and had been struggling with esophageal cancer for a couple of years. :\'(

He was the best thing about the film, Timecop, too....

His most famous role was his Oscar nomination for "Reversal Of Fortune", playing Alan Dershowitz, who defended that cad Claus Von Bulow and had a small part on O.J. Simpson's "Dream Team". I still remember Silver playing Sonny on a few episodes of "Rhoda". He will be missed. :\'(

I knew him best from the films 'Time Cop' and 'Arrival' and for his supporting roles on the TV series 'Rhoda' and 'Veronica's Closet'. He was a great actor and will be missed :\'(
