I love him, he was hilarious.  To tell the truth, I was shocked because I thought he died years ago.  :-[

Rest In Peace, Dom.  You will be missed.

Holy blank! :\'(

This is sad indeed. Didn't he voice one of the characters in All Dogs Go To Heaven? Also, I believe he hosted a short-lived revival of "Candid Camera" in the early 90s.

He was a very funny man. I remember him in "Smokey and the Bandit" as well as Cannonball run films and a short lived but funny TV show in the 70's, Lotsa Luck.

He was quite the talented Comedic Actor.I really enjoyed a lot of the Films He was in.
He had such chemistry working w/ Burt Reynolds and Gene Wilder, too.

He used to have a summer place not too far from where I live. There used to be a restaurant that one of my best friends & I used to eat at ALL THE TIME and our waitress would tell us that Dom used to come into the restaurant frequently. Unfortunately, he never came in when we were there.

Also, I knew someone who worked for ADT and Dom's alarm went off because of the temp and the guy I knew was the one who answered the call. He told me that Dom said, "You mean to tell me it went off because I'm COLD?"

how sad  :\'(  Dom Deluise was truly a funny man. I remember him and Burt Reynolds, and the interaction would always be hilarious, and Burt would slap him really hard on his face and you know it had to hurt but Dom went with it and they made it funny like the 3 Stooges

He was a great actor and will be truly missed.  I LOVED him in the Cannonball Run movies

In an episode of the 90s drama 'SeaQuest DSV', he guest starred with his sons Michael, David and Peter.  It was apparently the first (and only) time him and all three of his acting sons appeared on screen together

He WAS great in those films, which were if you really looked at them for what the were, they were pretty bad. But the gag/blooper reels at the end with Burt cracked me up! And made them worth watching! ;D
He was a great dramatic actor too, anyone remember Fatso?

He also had a great bit part in Blazing Saddles too (the dancing director at the end), which reminds me, all the stars of that film (except Gene Wilder) are officially gone now  :\'(

I almost forgot about the movie "The End" with Burt & Dom, where Deluise is a mental patient who becomes Burt's friend after Burt is committed to the hospital for a suicide attempt and after befriending Dom, he then asks Dom to assist Burt in committing suicide and those situations are hilarious.

Last night Lady Di said that we have a children's book wrote by Dom called "Charlie The Caterpillar" we had got it for Julie when she was 1. she found it and it's copyrighted 1990 and a beautiful dedication of the book to his 3 sons.

His portrayal of Aunt Kate in Haunted Honeymoon is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.  I am very sad to hear that he has left us.   :\'(

It was called Speed Zone.  The only cast member from the first two Cannonball Run films to reprise his role was Jamie Farr as the Sheik.
