Nope, he's alive.  I just heard him do the voice-over for the CBS Evening News yesterday evening.

I would have started one but when you're thisclose to deaths door, your bed,..er grave is waiting..

BYTHEWAY..are most people aware of how the Major newspapers and magazines have a 'death file' all researched and printed up and are just waiting on the nod to print the OBIT..
for many nearing the end..they had Bob Hope's all set for years.

OK , I won't give a heads up anymore, I'll let it surprise everyone until they actually pass.

A heads-up is OK, just best to post them in the Threads of the Living.  ;)

Interesting.

He should be honored for his life-long achievement. That's a little more than 80% of his whole life!

Cronkite is an old man.  He's at the age where even the hardiest of souls get sick and die.

The name Cronkite will always draw a classic iconic TV image, like the name Carson.

Just think how Cronkite's career would have been derailed if he had to share the news desk with Ed McMahon.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Wally!  (guffaw guffaw guffaw)  ;D
