Gammon, who played the gruff but lovable manager, in the film Major League, passed away at the age of 70, July 16th, of liver and gland cancer.

This is sad news. I loved him in the Major League films. He played Nash Bridges' dad and was also in one of my favourite movies 'Silverado'
