Just Meredith Baxter. She divorced David Birney along time ago, but speaking of him, he was on Family, and is still alive.
On the All-Star Family Feud DVD set, it has celebrity episodes of the Dawson era, and one of them has the cast of Family, but I don't remember if Sada was one of the players on it.
R.I.P. to a great actress. I thought she was great in the movie 'Pollock'

Yes. For a while she was actually Meredith Baxter-Bush-Birney-Blodgett. She had a penchant to marry men whose last name started with a "B". ;D
But a year or two ago she 'came out' as a gay woman.

I watched that show faithfully as a kid. Seemed really hip at the time, but dated today. The episode that sticks out in my mind was the one where her character was a juror and the brazen writers plagiarized the script of 12 Angry Men, her being the holdout.

I thought she came out of the closet when she was on Empty Nest. However, just doing a research on Google, it could only be just a rumor. Some places says she is-other says that she is not.
