Subject: Green Acres actor, Frank Cady, Passes on at 96

Sam Cady, best known for his portrayal of shopkeeper Sam Drucker in the 1960's series Green Acres and Petticoat Junction, passed away this Friday in Oregon.

I don't know what it is with Green Acres. Almost all the stars of it have passed all too quickly. Eddie Albert... Eva Gabor... the dudes who played Mr. Kimball, Mr. Haney, Fred Ziffle, and Doris Ziffel. About the only main character left is the guy who played Eb the inempt farmhand.

They passed because they were old. They all lived well into their 70s and 80s and hopefully lived good lives.

Eddie Albert was 99 when he passed about 5 years ago.

I LOVED Mr. Drucker. I have the 1st 2 seasons of 'Petticoat Junction' on DVD and I love it so much.

Doris Ziffle was only 54 years old, and Arnold was barely 8. :\'(
