Subject: Joop Stokkermans, 75, dies

Dutch composer Joop Stokkermans has passed away at the age of 75. Stokkermans wrote the Dutch entries for the 1962 and 1971 Eurovision Song Contest competitions, "Katinka" and "Tijd" respectively.

The former received "nul points", the latter finished joint sixth - in spite of microphone problems in the early stages of the performance.
