Legendary country singer Slim Whitman has reportedly passed away from a heart ailment, all too soon. :\'(
In addition to his awesome voice, Slim is also famous as one of the first big-time "as seen on TV" performers; his ads sold millions of his records. 8)

I am saddened with this news, for this was one of the singers I was brought up on, hearing his songs on TV and radio, even an uncle of mine had a good LP collection which contained Slim Whitman.

All too soon? Really? He was 90. I would say he lived a long life.
He will be missed.
