Another celebrity I grew up with has passed away today, Dave Madden who portrayed Reuben Kincaid the band manager on the Partridge Family has died at the age of 82 of congestive heart and kidney failure. R.I.P Dave at least Russell Johnson from Gilligan's Island can keep you company :\'(

Russell Johnson also died of kidney failure. I wonder if there is something going around? ???

Sad! I watched Partridge Family all the time as a youth - I liked Reuben Kincaid :\'( :\'( :\'(

I watched the Partridge family quite a bit when they were on TV. I appreciated the dialogue between Reuben and Danny Partridge.
Dave was also on Laugh-in.

Other than Partridge Family, I remember him from Alice. He was a really good actor, and also a Canadian!

I just checked the IMDb page for The Partridge Family, having thought that Mr. Madden was the first cast member to have passed away.
To my horror I read that deaths amongst the guest stars of this show have not been uncommon. Amongst them, Vic Tayback, Richard Mulligan, Bert Convy, Ray Bolger, Dick Clark, Slim Pickens, Harry Morgan, Morey Amsterdam, and Jackie Coogan. to name a few. I suppose Dave Madden did pretty well living as long as he did...
