Subject: Ruth Duccini Passes On ; Only One Munchkin Left

Ruth Robinson Duccini, who was one of the munchkins in the legendary movie The Wizard of Oz, passed away Friday She is the 123rd player of a Munchkin character from that movie to have passed on. :-\\
Actor Jerry Maren is the sole surviving Munchkin character left and oddly one of the only surviving actors of the movie, period. He was one of the members of the Lollipop Guild.
Back when I used to live near Chicago, a local town had an annual Wizard of Oz Festival and quite a few former munchkins would come and make an appearance. :)

Sad to say but there is one more munchkin alive and he is 93. :\'(
