Subject: Original bassist for Foreigner Ed Gagliardi passes away.

Found out last night on Ed's Facebook fan page that Ed died of cancer last night Ed was with the band from 1976 -1979. He was 62. R.I.P Ed :\'(

Bummer. I remember a lot of Gag's killer bass grooves in the early Foreigner days. 8)

This is very sad news. I don't think of him as much being with Foreigner as I do with his band S.P.Y.S which he formed after leaving Forigner.
This was a very popular hit here in Canada circa 1982 and I still love it ...
