Just saw on the news that Saudi Arabia's King Adullah bin Abdulaziz passed away in a hospital today. Apparently he had some sort of lung infection.

He only reigned as King of Saudi Arabia for less than 10 years, having ascended to the throne in August 2005.

Officially, yes - but unofficially he was in charge of things for a longer period than that, taking care of business for his brother Fahd since the mid-1990s.
