Subject: Lynyrd Skynyrd Drummer Robert Lewis Burns

Seminal Southern Rock drummer Robert Lewis Burns Jr., who played the skins for Lynryrd Skynyrd from 1964 through 1974, has passed away in a car crash in Georgia. Most recently he was drumming in Artimus Pyle's eponymous band.

Burns played on such Skynyrd classics as "Sweet Home Alabama", "Free Bird", and "Gimme Three Steps". 8)
