Prolific character actor James Best, who starred in 83 feature films and 600 TV shows, but who is probably most well known for his portrayal of bumbling cop Rosco P. Coltrane on the Dukes of Hazzard, has passed away. His life was cut short due to a bout of pneumonia he contracted on a cruise and from which he did not recover.
