Scotty Moore, Elvis's lead guitarist and one of the innovators of rock and roll, has died. He was 84. He had been in poor health in the past few months. He was inducted into the RRHOF; but when he was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame, he was too ill to attend, so one of the greats he influenced -- none other than Keith Richards -- accepted on his behalf.

Keith once said, ""I started out on an acoustic guitar, then I heard Scotty Moore and I went electric." The rest is history for both guitarists.

Scotty Moore reunited with The King. RIP :(
