Subject: Bionic Technology Could Not Save Richard Anderson

Written By: LyricBoy on 09/01/17 at 4:48 am

Legendary 70's actor Richard Anderson, who starred as government operative Oscar Goldman simultaneously in The Six Million Dollar Man, as well as The Bionic Woman, has passed away at the age of 91.  :\'(

Anderson did the iconic voice-over for the opening credits to TSMDM, proclaiming "We can make him stronger... faster... better!"

Anderson's character got a shout-out in the comedic movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin" when Steve Carell noted that the Oscar Goldman action figure in his collection was a much more valuable collector's item than either Steve Austin (the $6MM man) or Jamie Sommers (the bionic babe).  8)

Looking at his credits for his acting roles he has appeared in many a television program and feature film, with a long career starting in 1947.

He will be missed.
