Subject: Jimmy Beaumont Croons His Last Hit

Written By: LyricBoy on 10/08/17 at 6:29 pm

Legendary doo wop singer, Jimmy Beaumont, front man for Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners, has passed away at the age of 76.

The Skyliners had a slew of top 40'hits, most notably their smash "Since I Don't Have You" way back in '59.

Jimmy is the fourth original member of this group to meet an untimely death; their Wikipedia page tells the tale of numerous deaths by unnatural causes. The COD for Jimmy has not been released, and given his age it was probably from natural causes.

Is the official term of COD is 'died from an undisclosed illness'?

Is the official term of COD is 'died from an undisclosed illness'?

It stands for "cause of death."

I have noticed that some deaths have only been recorded as 'died from an undisclosed illness' keeping to the wishes of the family.

Sometimes they know what it is, but do not wish to reveal it openly, out of respect for the wishes of the family.
