Noted southwest folk singer, environmentalist, actress, and photographer Katie Lee has passed away.

Katie (not to be confused with the vapid TV cook of the same name) was famous for her collaborations with Burl Ives, as well as her work in opposing the construction of the Grand River Dam.

I miss read because I thought I read Kathie Lee as in Kathie Lee Gifford.

I had not even thought about Kathie Lee Gifford when I made the post, although after I posted the main text I remembered the other Katie Lee.
