Lots of us grew up with him a pickin' and a grinnin' (along with his TV partner, Buck Owens) on the hit country show, Hee Haw for 25 years.  :o

Roy was the real deal, and played back when his genre was known as Country and Western. Unlike many of today's sissified "country" stars.
