Banjo players everywhere are playing their strings in honor of Mac Wiseman, one of the members of the legendary Foggy Mountain Boys who were the backing band of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs’ bluegrass entertainment.

Mac played guitar in that combo, and he was also the last surviving cofounder of the Country Music Association. Huge,huge loss to the bluegrass community. :\'(
