Renowned high school football coach Bill Yoast, who was immortalized as the white assistant coach by Will Patton in the movie Remember the Trojans, has passed away at the age of 94 in an assisted living facility.

He was survived by his ex wife and three daughters. The movie implied that his daughter was an only child, but in real life he had five. :o

Sad to hear this! A wonderful story, his was well dramatized in Remember the Titans. What the Titans did in 1971 was remarkable, and Bill Yoast was a huge part of it.
