Subject: Dennis Day Signs Off from Mickey Mouse Club

Written By: LyricBoy on 06/07/19 at 7:14 pm

Legendary original Mickey Mouse Club member Dennis Day was declared deceased today.  :\'(  His remains were actually discovered a few months ago, but it took this long for him to be positively identified.

Dennis joins up with fellow Mouseketeers Annette Funicello and Doreen Tracy in that big Mickey Mouse Club in the sky.  :\'(

Maybe. Sharon, Bobby, Cubby, Lonny, Darlene, and Karen can do a MMC reunion special for the Disney Channel.  :)

There’s something off about the whole story though.

Dennis was reported missing way back in June 2018. A badly decomposed body was found at his house this past April which turned out to be him.

He was likely laying dead in his house for 10 months... and all that time nobody thought to check the house of the missing man? Fair chance of fowl play going on here.

I knew there was “something rotten in Denmark” on this story. His handyman has been arrested for his murder.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/07/us/mouseketeer-dennis-day-man-arrested/index.html

Mr. Day had been reported missing in July 2018, all the while his rotting body was AT HIS PLACE OF RESIDENCE and not “found” until this past April.

I suspect there will be more to develop on this story. Seems to me that whoever was running the investigation was grossly incompetent. One of the first things you do when an elderly man goes missing is to search his own residence thoroughly.

Latest news on this story... the murderer has confessed to the killing.

https://mailtribune.com/news/top-stories/handyman-stashed-missing-mouseketeer-dennis-days-body-under-pile-of-clothes-court-records-say

Seems the murderer was a live-in handyman for Dennis. According to the article, the murderer “has criminal convictions for sodomy, robbery and assault going back a decade.“. Probably not a good candidate if you’re looking for a live-in handyman.  :-\\

It is also reported that for several days after Day’s disappearance, the murderer used Day’s debit card, and that the dead body was found under a stack of clothes in Day’s house.

The Keystone Kops mist have been leading the missing persons investigation.

I knew it. The cops did a complete botch job on the investigation. Apparently the investigating cops actualLy stepped on the dead body several times :o in the months before it was “discovered” under a pile of clothing. Meanwhile the whole house stunk like rotting flesh.  8-P

And they didn't see there was a rotting corpse?  ::)

Not only did they not see it... They did not smell it, and they did not notice the bones breaking under their feet as they stepped on it.

When I first heard that Dennis’ body was found in his own home, months after he was reported missing, I smelled a rat. Heads should roll in that police department.
