Legendary Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter has passed away, all too soon at the age of 78.  :\'(

Robert wrote or co-wrote all their big tunes. Friend of the Devil, Sugaree, Touch of Gray, Sugar Magnolia, Truckin’, Uncle John’s Band, Casey Jones, and Ripple are but a small sample of his voluminous work.

Some Grateful Dead "purists" don't dig this one (as it was a commercial hit), but I do -
Grateful Dead - Touch Of Grey (1987)    :)
