Prolific actor Rene Auberjonois, known for his roles on Star Trek (DS 9), Benson, and Boston Legal, has passed on at the age of 79. :\'(

Probably. Dude was huge in his heyday. He was in the M*A*S*H movie too.

IMDB does not show him credited for any episodes of Soap.

Close! He was a regular on Benson, which was a spinoff of Soap.

I mainly remember him from the sitcom Benson, and his role in the Mel Gibson movie “ the patriot”. Rip Rene😔

And marks the second Star Trek DS9 actor to pass away. Aron Eisenberg passed away in September of heart failure.
