It’s been a bad week for NASCAR. First the demise of Johnny Ray. And now news has come out that driver John Andretti, nephew of Mário Andretti, has passed away at the age of 56 from colon cancer. :\'(

His father is Aldo Andretti, the less-famous twin brother of Mario. 8)

John was sick for a long time. It seemed the chemo treatments never helped and may have hurt him in his last few months. RIP, John.
