Subject: Fred Silverman’s Series Finale

Written By: LyricBoy on 01/30/20 at 5:05 pm

The term “legendary” is an understatement for the recently deceased Fred Silverman, who dominated network TV for decades. Over the years he ended up running TV Ops for each of the big three networks. But now he’s gone all too soon at the age of 82.  :\'(

Dude was a programming monster. He produced fare such as Charlie’s Angels, The Love Boat, Family, Donny & Marie, Three’s Company, Eight Is Enough, The Bionic Woman and Good Morning America., The Mary Tyler Moore Show, M*A*S*H, The Waltons, Good Times, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, Kojak, Cannon, The Jeffersons, and the animated — and later iconic — Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!  8)
