Subject: Arthur moves out: Jerry Stiller dies

Written By: ChrisBodilyTM on 05/11/20 at 5:37 am

BREAKING: Legendary comedian Jerry Stiller has died. He performed with his wife, the late Anne Meara, for years. In more recent years, he is best remembered as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld and Arthur Spooner on The King of Queens.

He is survived by Ben and Amy.

Whoa. Wasn't expecting this. I never did see that movie he made where he played a director. What was that called again? The Independent.

He was hilarious on The King of Queens. I'll never forget him arguing about The Chipmunks.  ;D

Aside from his later roles. I remember Jerry Stiller as part of a comedy team with his wife Anne Meara. They were a fixture on variety shows like Ed Sullivan in the 60s. A large part of their routine was that they were a "mixed marriage". He was Jewish, she was Catholic. Back then that was still enough to cause friction in some families and in society. They also did radio commercials for Blue Nun wine.

"I'd like a little Blue Nun".
"Where are you gonna find her?".

And who can forget Frank Costanza and his "Festivus" holiday? "Festivus for the rest of us!".

Coronavirus? ???

Thankfully, no. The article says it was from natural causes.

Ben confirmed his father's death early Monday morning, writing he "passed away from natural causes" on Twitter.

Well COVID would be considered ‘natural causes’.

Damn, the guy that played Frank Costanza from "Seinfeld" and other characters, like Arthur Spooner from "The King of Queens" on TV.  :\'(

RIP to the legend.

How so? I must be missing something here.

All I know is that there was no mention of C.O.V.I.D. in the article.

Here in the UK, to have died from Covid-19 a test has had to be done first when unwell and at death the passing is recorded as Covid-19 with other related causes, i.e pneumonia, kidney infection. With natural causes, could have been a natural death, with Covid-19 not detected.
