I really hate all these unexpected deaths this year, I feel like it's 2016 all over again, but even worse with this Corona stuff. RIP Eddie Van Halen, may you rock out in the heavens above.

He's the reason I tap. RIP Eddie.
He wasn’t the first tapper. But he was the first to make it popular for sure.
I was impressed to learn that he wrote and played the synth on Jump and others. I originally thought they showed him playing that because the synth was the big star of that song. But he was actually very accomplished at multiple instruments.
RIP Eddie.

I don't think Eddie and Valerie Bertinelli ever got over their divorce. She's always said nice things about him.
