Legendary fashionista Pierre Cardin, (born in Italy as Pietro Costante Cardin) has passed away, all too soon, at the age of 98. :\'(

Pierre’s fashions and designs were all the rage. But at one point, he licensed the use of his brand name to anybody who would pay royalties, including a manufacturer of toilet paper. ;D. As a result, Messr. Cardin saw the value of his brand become diluted. :-\\
His sense of style was fabulous.

I've heard of him. He lived quite a long life.
