Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings recorded "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" as a duet in 1978, taking the song to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and winning a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1979. 8)
