Legendary reality TV matriarch Pat Loud has passed away at the age of 94 from what was described as natural causes. :\'(

Back in the early 70s, Pat and her then-husband Bill Loud opened up their home to the first reality TV hit, An American Family. . The show covered the daily doings of the Loud family, including the disintegration of Pat and Bill’s marriage. It also covered their son Lance Loud ‘coming out’ as openly gay, when previously he was closedly gay.
Pat is the third cast member to pass away, after Lance Ihe died from AIDS complications in 2001, and Bill at 97 :o from natural causes in 2018. :-\\
