Subject: Juan Pizarro Throws us a Curve Ball

Written By: LyricBoy on 02/19/21 at 5:19 am

Veteran Puerto Rican MLB pitcher Juan Pizarro (not to be confused with the conquistador of the 16th century) has passed away at the age of 84.  :\'(

During his 18-year run in the Big Leagues, Juan racked up 131 wins, pitching for the Milwaukee Braves, the Picksburgh Pirates (in two different stints), the Sox (both Red and White), Houston Astros, Oakland Athletics, and the Cubbies. Pizarro’s skilz were in high demand. You name the MLB team of his era, he either played for them or pummeled them from the mound.  8)
