Subject: Peter Gotti Leaves This Thing of Ours

Written By: LyricBoy on 02/25/21 at 6:52 pm

Peter Gotti, successor to legendary mob boss John “The Dapper Don” Gotti has passed away at the age of 81.  :\'(  He had been a resident of Butner Federal Penitentiary.

After his younger brother John went to the slam, Peter took over the reins of the family. He was sentenced to the slam in March 2002 for, amongst other things, trying to extort Steven Seagal.  But just like in the movies, Segal prevailed and Gotti was sent up the river. Gotti’s sentence was supposed to last until 2031, but the Grim Reaper had other plans.

In ‘04, Peter was also convicted of taking out a failed $70,000 contract on the life of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano, whose testimony landed John Gotti in the slam.

In some circles, Gravano was known as “Sammy the Rat”.  :-X

Thought just entered my mind. I have a couple of acquaintances who did time at Butner. I wonder if either of them hung with Gotti?  ??? :-X
