Legendary actor, raconteur, and fellow Picksburgher Charles Grodin has passed away at 86.  :\'(

He had many film credits to his name.
For example, he played the overworked patriarch in the movie Beethoven and reprised the role in its sequel Beethoven's 2nd. He was great in that role, IMO.

He played essential the same role in Clifford with Martin Short.

Yes, "Midnight Run" is an absolute classic. Especially Dennis Farina's lines. "Sidney, siddown, relax, have a sandwich, drink a glass of milk, do some fkn' thing."  ;D
