Subject: Soap Legend Stuart Damon Passes Away

General Hospital soap alum Stuart Damon passed away on June 29th after having health issues. He played Alan Quartermaine on the show for decades. Even after his character passed away due to a heart attack he made guest appearances from the grave, visiting his soulmate Monica Q. He was 84 years old. :\'(

I’ve been watching on and off since I was a baby. I remember this one Nurses Ball where he, Emily, and I think the others were Kevin and Tony did a Wizard of Oz performance.

I remember that. Loved the Nurses' Ball. In fact, I have a couple of tee shirts and pins from the Nurses' Ball. Not sure how much they would be worth now. One I never opened.

Stuart Damon was one of those soap actors that you just knew, even if you didn't watch soap operas. Sort of like Eric Braeden (Y&R), John McCook (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Susan Lucci (All My Children). R.I.P. to a soap legend
