Jane Withers, known for being a child star in the 1930s and 40s, but more legendarily renowned for her role as Josephine the Plumber where she hawked Comet household cleanser for 14 years, has passed away at the age of 95. :\'(

I had no idea she was still alive! She also appeared on The Munsters as a golddigger out to get grandpa's money.

Josephine was an icon to my generation.

Yes, I noticed it was Robbie Benson, a great 70s (and beyond) actor. He got his start in TV commercials. I recall he also did one of those "you got your chocolate on my peanut butter! You got your peanut butter on my chocolate!" Reese's Cup commercials. remember those? ;D

Yes, I definitely remember him in that commercial.
