Doc rose to national fame as the house bandleader for Emeril Lagasse’s Food Channel TV show, Emeril Live. Doc’s awesome house music “kicked things up a notch” for the show’s vibe. 8)

I remember him as the bandleader on Emeril Live. You're right, he sure did help kick things up a notch on there.
